The School of Sciences
Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) is considered the metropolitan campus of Auburn University. It is located seven miles east of Downtown Montgomery and has a metropolitan flare. Located just five miles from downtown Birmingham, Birmingham-Southern College (BSC) is a private liberal arts college. BSC is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The college places a strong focus on keeping the faculty/student low so each student receives individualized. The current ratio is 13:1. A diverse group of 1,305 students come from 33 different states and 16 foreign countries.

The Alabama Christian College of Arts and Sciences
Faulkner University is a Christian university that focuses on growing its student body both academically and spiritually. Faculty and staff provide students with a challenging environment that promotes personal and spiritual growth. There are five colleges offering 65 different academic majors.

Division of Social Sciences
Formed in 1838, Judson College was created as a small women’s college in Alabama at a time where few colleges allowed women to get a formal education. From the time of its inception, Judson College alumnae were a group of women who worked to improve their society and promote positive change.
