According to what is fondly called the Spring Hill College advantage, students at Spring Hill receive a liberal arts education that follows Jesuit traditions. Students in the Division of Social Sciences spend the first two years of their education focusing on a traditional framework of conventional social sciences. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The Department of Psychology at Spring Hill has three goals:
• To contribute to the students’ liberal education and to help the students learn more about themselves so they may make effective decisions about their lives;
• To prepare students for graduate school if they wish to continue their education;
• To give practical education and field experience to enable students to find jobs in psychology-related fields immediately after obtaining the baccalaureate degree.
Students who complete this program will be prepared to work in many areas of psychology. The broad curriculum for two years along with more focused training for two more years creates professionals with a strong background as well as excellent clinical and practical skills.

Founded in 1881 by Booker T. Washington, Tuskegee University (TU) is famous for its Tuskegee airmen. The men of this crew originated at TU in conjunction with the United States Army Air Corps. Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience
In 2009, the undergraduate Neuroscience major was established at UAB. It was a collaborative program involving

The University of Alabama – Huntsville
The College of Liberal Arts
The University of Alabama Hunstville (UAH) is also one of the three institutions that comprise the University of Alabama System. UAH is a state-supported, public, coeducational research university. It has an enrollment of around 7,500. According to the US News & World Report, UAH is considered a Tier I national university. In 2013, UAH was ranked 101st in the nation (also according to US News & World Report).
