Counseling and Psychology Degrees Offered at Bellevue University

The Master of Science in Clinical Counseling is an online licensure-track program. It requires the completion of 60 credit hours and 100 hours of practicum and 600 hours of clinical internship. The major courses include Introduction to Counseling Theories, Helping Relationships and Orientation to the Counseling Profession, Human Development Throughout the Lifespan, Theories of Psychopathology, Diagnosis of Mental and Behavioral Disorders, Foundations of Addictions Counseling, and Couples and Family Counseling. Graduates of the program are prepared to take the mental health counselor national licensing examination.
The minor in psychology enables students to gain an overview of the psychology field. The minor requires the completion of 19 credit hours.
