- The Psychological Services Track prepares students to enter careers in a variety of mental health and human service positions including:
- behavioral health technicians

This program is not recommended for students who plan to enter graduate studies
- The Pre-Counseling Track prepares students to enter graduate programs

- marriage and family therapy

Students in this track should maintain a GPA above 3.0 in their psychology classes.

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Psychology
The Behavioral Science Department offers a BA and a BS in Psychology. The curriculum in the Psychology major provides students the skills and knowledge to gain a better understanding of humanity through a biblical world perspective. Coursework in this program integrates faith, theology, and the science of psychology to give students with a holistic view of human behavior and mental processes. Competencies for graduates of the Psychology major include:
- Show a core comprehension of psychological theories, terms, and theories

Students pursuing the BA in Psychology are required to complete a language requirement. Lincoln University is a historically black university. It was founded in 1866 by Veterans of the 62nd and 65th US Colored Infantries and their White officers for freed African Americans.
